Zeiss Super Speed MKII Lenses
These vintage Zeiss Super Speed Lenses offer a super fast T1.3 aperture and produce magenta and blue lens flares. They are small and lightweight, making them a great choice for handheld and gimbal setups. We carry the Mark II versions.
Zeiss Super Speed lenses cover more than Super 35, making them versatile on larger sensor cameras like the Alexa Mini LF. With many focal lengths covering UHD, a camera prep day will answer all your questions about the ideal resolution and sensor coverage for your particular production.
Be advised: Zeiss also made Super 16mm Super Speed lenses, which are not for Super 35 sensors. Zeiss CP.2 lenses with T1.5 apertures are branded as “Super Speed,” but the “Zeiss Super Speed” name is an informal one, and typically refers to the T1.3-T1.4 lenses from the 1970s to 90s. We also carry Zeiss Standard Speed lenses.
