Red Star Rentals DC began more than 30 years ago as The Washington Source for Lighting, rebranding as Red Star in 2016. Our camera rental team began as Charmcine and Capital Camera, providing cameras, lenses, and accessories. As part of joining the Red Star family, we now offer more than 100 different camera rentals, from Arri and Red cinema cameras to mirrorless bodies from Canon, Sony, and Panasonic. We also have nearly 1,000 rental lenses in our collection, from modern favorites to classics and hard-to-find boutique cinema lenses.
