Sony Venice 2 8K
The Sony Venice 2 8k Camera with full frame license builds on the CineAlta legacy, and the impressive performance of Sony’s Venice cinema camera. It has the widest dynamic range of any Sony camera ever and incredibly fast sensor readout to reduce or eliminate rolling shutter artifacts. Incredibly popular for use on high-end television and films, its credits include The Lincoln Lawyer, Ferrari, and CSI: Vegas.
The 8K sensor has dual ISO at an impressive 800/3200, for incredible exposure flexibility in a variety of shooting situations, all while offering 16 stops of dynamic range. The Venice 2 8K supports internal recording onto a high-speed ASX card and internal recording formats including ProRes and X-OCN.
The Venice 2 has a native locking E mount as well as a PL mount, opening up thousands of lens possibilities.
Your rental includes two AXS 1TB S66 (white) media cards to utilize the highest frame rates. It also includes four V-Mount batteries. The camera can run on both 12v and 24v power systems.
