Weaver Steadman 2 Axis Fluid Head

The Weaver Steadman Head is a modular fluid head system designed to allow camera movements in ways that are impossible with traditional heads. Built originally for 35mm film cameras, the Weaver Steadman head can handle lenses over 200mm and weights up to 120 pounds in two-axis mode or 100 pounds in three-axis mode. Trick shots with 360-degree rolls and rotations are smooth and repeatable.

For maximum usability with a variety of different-sized camera builds, the kit includes multiple camera plates as well as a lateral plate. It can be built in a two-axis (pan + tilt) or three-axis (pan + tilt + roll) configuration. The head can be easily adjusted and reconfigured using the included allen key and quick release pins. It can be used in both traditional and underslung configurations. When fully assembled in three-axis mode, the head weighs 61 pounds. It mounts on a Mitchell base.
