The Rycote Classic Softie is a slip on solution that quickly provides wind protection for shotgun boomed or mounted shotgun mics.
Specially designed acoustic foam and synthetic fur achieve up to 25 dB of wind-noise reduction without any adverse effect on high frequencies. Made from specialty foam the classic softie is impervious to UV and moisture damage and protects the microphone in even the harshest environments.
