RED Komodo
The RED Komodo camera rental from Red Digital Cinema features a 6K sensor in a small cube design, weighing only 2.1 lb. Using the Canon RF mount, the Komodo has a 19.9MP Super35 CMOS sensor and Global Shutter technology. The camera captures more than 16 stops of dynamic range, while recording up to 6K (6144×3240 pixels) at 40 fps, 5K at 48 fps, K at 60 fps, and 2K at 120 fps. The Komodo camera can record in REDCode RAW as well as Apple ProRes.
RED’s smallest digital cinema camera to date, the RED Komodo is designed for maximum versatility. Equally at home on a gimbal, a drone, or handheld, the RED Komodo goes anywhere. In addition to the remarkably small size and weight, RED designed the camera to use less power and wireless control, all welcome features for mounting in difficult places and complex rigs. As a first for RED, the camera includes a built-in monitor/touchscreen.
