Bead Board Holders, also commonly referred to as duck bills, platypus clamps, or quacker clamps, provide a quick and easy solution for mounting and rigging foam core, bead board, and other lightweight reflectors.
Metal plates clamp down to hold reflectors firmly, while a 5/8″ baby pin allows for easy mounting to c-stands or other hardware. We always advise renting sand bags to secure large objects on stands, particularly outdoors.
Bead board holders are an essential piece of hardware in any grip kit, and we include them in every grip truck and van we rent. If space is at a premium, we also rent a smaller version.
