The ARRI Diopter tray allows a 138mm Diopter up to +3 to be fitted to any 4×5 matte box. This tray takes up two stages in a matte box, but a +3 diopter will require the diopter tray to use all three stages in a matte box, so typically a 2+ diopter at most is recommended.
