Formerly Location Lighting our Philadelphia North location (the original Philly location for those keeping score) joined the Red Star family in 2019. Having served the Philadelphia community for over 25 years it has grown from Philly’s largest light and grip equipment vendor to also offering camera and production supply rentals.
Easily accessible, we’re located just off the Ft. Washington exit of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and mere blocks from the Oreland Station of the SEPTA Regional Rail. Just a short drive from Philadelphia city center, Valley Forge, PA and Sun Center Studios.
We’re a qualified vendor for the Pennsylvania Film Tax Incentive and are proud to serve productions throughout the state and surrounding areas including Harrisburg, Allentown, Scranton and all of eastern Pennsylvania.
