The Leica Classic-Crons, are a custom designed set that were a collaboration with the renowned engineers and technicians at Duclos Lenses. There are only 2 sets in existence and this is the only full 10 lens set in the world – making these among the rarest premium cinema lenses.
This custom-built set of Leica Summicron-C primes features highly modified coatings, carefully engineered to evoke the timeless aesthetics of vintage Hollywood glass. The result is a velvety, classic image characterized by enhanced flares, blooming highlights, and a softened contrast—delivering a distinct visual signature coveted by discerning cinematographers
With this set you can enjoy all of the benefits of the compact and powerful Summicron-Cs with and elevated and unique character. The lenses are all 4” long and weighing between 2.9 and 3.4 pounds. They are perfect for small-builds including handheld shooting, Steadicam, and stabilized rigs. Matched focus and iris ring locations as well as uniform 95mm front diameters mean you’ll save time with easy lens changes.
