Schoeps CMC 6 / MK41 Condenser Microphone
The Schoeps CMC 6 / MK41 Condenser Microphone kit includes an MK41 super-cardioid capsule mounted to a CMC6 Preamplifier, well-suited for recording dialog indoors. It’s an incredibly popular combination for location audio when fidelity and an even frequency response are ideal.
The CMC6 Preamplifier features Class-A transformerless electronics, resulting in a very low noise floor and excellent protection from RF interference, making it an ideal choice for use with longer cable runs. It requires 48v phantom power.
The MK41 Capsule is a supercardioid condenser capsule with a wide frequency range and high SPL handling. The supercardioid capsule is effective in minimizing noise and ambient audio at the off-axis sections of the microphone capsule.
